Which game studio does the slot come from?
This is the latest game from the brains working at Play'n Go.
Don't miss your chance to play the demo
Enter the forge at the beginning, once the game loads, and look around for a few practice spins of the reels. It looks hot in there.
More details about the theme
It does look like a place where gems are forged. Look at the grates on either side of the reels, where flames roar and heat rises to the sides of the reels. You can expect plenty of gems to appear during the game as well.
A striking 2D design
We think this slot is a great example of how eye-catching a 2D slot game can be. The fiery nature of the design works well, and we have a variety of colored gems created to appear on the reels too. We love the steampunk style of it as well, giving it an industrial look that works beautifully.
How to play Forge of Gems slots
We have five reels here, with three basic rows of symbols in play. At the top of the reels, you'll see a horizontal set of five icons as well, sometimes grayed out, so watch for those. This is called the Forge Reel.
The game includes a hexagonal gem inside a gold surround as the wild symbol. This replaces everything apart from the scatter. The scatter is a golden gem with a red center.

Make sure you read the paytable before you play
This is always good advice to take, but it becomes even more important here. The info button is to the left of your balance underneath the reels. You can go through and read the paytable between spins if needed, but make sure you check it before you begin.
Look out for the bonus Gembox
The Gembox can award one of three prizes, according to how many scatters you receive to unlock it. Prizes vary here, with the chance of an instant prize along with free spin possibilities.
We should also explain more about the Forge Reel, as this can go live during the base game and the free spins. If you create a winning combination, the cascade feature begins. You know about this, we're sure - all winning symbols disappear, and you'll find new ones taking their places. The Forge Reel then comes into play as well. There are five possible symbols that can appear there, with a blank spot also possible. The various symbols can bring you more wilds, bigger winning multipliers, split symbols, and so on.
It's best to try this as a demo game first, as it is only by playing lots of spins that you'll really begin to understand how powerful the Forge Reel is.
